Pillars of Justice, originally uploaded by stevenharris. This scuplture, known as “The Pillars of Justice”, is located outside the Court House on University Avenue. It’s a great concept for a work of art, but unfortunately it’s neutral colour scheme makes it easy to miss amonst the buildings and other street fixtures.

Neither Rain, Nor Sleet, Nor Snow…, originally uploaded by stevenharris. A Canada Post van idles as the driver runs over to collect the contents of the nearby mailbox. And considering all the snow and dirt lying around, it’s a remarkably clean van at that.

Red Berries, originally uploaded by stevenharris. The branches and berries create an interesting pattern – to say nothing of probably being a decent source of food for the local birds over the winter. Of course the lack of birds in this picture could mean that they’re poisonous.
